Molding-in has always been a popular technique for the application of inserts. This procedure consists of placing the inserts on core pins in the  mold and forming the part around them. This is a fairly successful technique and is used often. Insert Molding for retaining a formed internal thread, as an integral part of your injection molded part design. This can be done in the molding process or as a secondary operation.
