Automated/Manual-Labeling, Packaging, and Assembly / Solvent Bonding / Bar Coding & Packaging

Solvent bonding, or solvent welding, as it is sometimes called, is a common technique used for joining parts molded of

amorphous thermoplastic resins. When parts are bonded in this manner, the solvent dissolves the surface of the two

mating parts and allows the material to flow together. After the solvent evaporates, what is left is a pure material-to-

material bond. Many plastic materials can be solvent bonded in an application where ultrasonic welding won't work.

We can help you with this application.
